- Exciting Opportunity for Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse (NICU) Band 6 at Portland Hospital
MedicsPro is currently recruiting skilled NICU Nurses with recent hospital experience for both full-time agency work and extra shifts at Portland Hospital.
This opportunity is to cover Monday - Sunday, Long Day & Night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cares for newborn babies with a range of health concerns from birth until they are released from the NICU.
* Provides comfort, support, and care to infants with serious health conditions.
* Communicates and cooperates with other healthcare professionals.
* Administer, prepare & check treatments and medications prescribed by physicians.
* Educates parents and family members about infant care.Uses advanced equipment and technology.
* Managing a baby's fluids
* Recording observations and documenting a baby's care
* Initiating appropriate basic resuscitation in an emergency

- At least 12 months of relevant UK experience in an NHS OR Private hospital setting on a NICU ward
- Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Children's Nursing Needs to of completed either 405 or QIS and can provide a certificate
