St Mary's Lodge, Leamington/ Warwick Resource Centre, Warwick Fixed Term - 20 P/W Requirements: Experience of psychiatry, including working with people suffering from severe mental illness, preferably in a community setting. A/C Section 12 preferred but not essential.
Brief overview of job to include: A Middle grade Psychiatrist is required to work in a community mental Health team and will be required to work closely with a range of professionals in a multidisciplinary team (including Community Psychiatric nurses, Psychologists, community wellbeing practitioners, occupational therapists and social workers)
The Responsibilities of the post will include assessing new referrals from GPs, inpatient wards, transfers from Home Treatment teams and internal referrals. To provide assessment, making an appropriate diagnosis, formulating management plans in the short term and long term.
The Doctor will have the support of a consultant Psychiatrist when necessary. The Doctor will be required to work at St Mary's lodge, In Leamington Spa.
The doctor will be supported by a medical secretary. - Experience
