Description: We are currently seeking to recruit a Locum Consultant in Emergency Medicine.

The successful applicant will have:

MB ChB or equivalent
Postgraduate qualification or equivalent eg. MRCP/MRCS/MCEM
Higher Qualification FRCEM
Completion of basic training
Completion of higher training in Emergency Medicine. Should be on the specialist register or be within 6 months of obtaining CCT at the time of interview.
Essential experience includes:

Experience of Audit
Teaching junior medical staff
Desirable experience includes:

Teaching qualification
Publications in recognised journals
Essential skills include:

Organisations skills including an enquiring critical approach to work, excellent personal time management,
Communication skills including the ability to listen, motivate and support staff of all disciplines to have a caring approach towards patients and colleagues
Leadership skills including excellent interpersonal qualities, a credible and persuasive presence amongst clinical and management colleagues to help the organisation achieve its values and aims

Other Requirements
Full registration with the GMC (or eligible for full registration) and Licensed to Practice

Registered on the GMC Specialist Register or be eligible for relevant CCT or equivalent within 6 months of interview.
