Essential
*Full registration with GMC with a licence to practice
*MBBS or equivalent
*FRCEM or equivalent
*Entry on the GMC specialist register for Emergency Medicine or within 6 months of entry on the GMC specialist register for EM (via CCT or CESR post submission of papers)
*ALS/ ATLS/ APLS (or equivalent) provider status

Desirable
*Higher degree (eg MD or PhD)
*ALS/ATLS/APLS Instructor status
*PEM accredited Consultants
