- Exciting Opportunity for Band 6 Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist
MedicsPro Recruitment are currently looking for a Band 6 Paediatric SALT to work in a private sector school, as part of their therapies team.
Successful candidate will be working with individuals' school aged children (aged 7-19), who present with complex needs (SEMH and ASD)
The role is part-time, 3 days per week. Academic term contract, with the opportunity for a permanent contract.
Essential
* 3+ years post graduate experience
* Previous NHS or Private Sector Experience
* HCPC Registration
* Enhanced DBS (clear)
Qualifications
* Relevant degree in Speech and Language Therapies
Key Responsibilities:
* Assessment, direct intervention, contributing to targets and reports, and supporting staff with communication strategies across the school
* Experience working in an SEN school, and understanding the dynamics between therapies teams and teaching staff
* Experience with EHCP
* Understanding the importance of working within a MDT
