- Are you an experienced Mental Healthcare Assistant (Band 2/3) looking for a flexible and rewarding role? MedicsPro is currently recruiting skilled Mental Healthcare Assistants with recent hospital experience for both full-time agency work and extra shifts at Morriston Hospital.
This opportunity is to cover Monday - Sunday, Day shifts, during the hours of 8am-8pm. Various Working Shifts Available.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identifying patients to be assessed
* Developing appointment slots
* Obtaining information of SMI and LD Lists from General Practice
* Liaising with mental health teams about patients also under their care
* Making sure patients are comfortable
* Helping patients move around
* Washing and dressing patients
* Taking basic observations and updating patient records
* Keeping departments tidy and ensuring equipment is clean
* Serving meals and helping patients eat
